COVID-19, or coronavirus, has had an impact on the workforce that we have never seen in this country. And the potential ramifications are frightening. You've probably heard about this.     When we converted those proportions to odds, we saw, actually before we controlled or adjusted for patient characteristics and practice characteristics, the odds of screening for cholesterol for Black patients was actually nearly 30% lower. Once we accounted for patient and provider and practice characteristics, it was 19%. So, there was some attenuation when we controlled for those things, but a disparity still persists. One of the things we wanted to know is, given the practices that older Black patients are cared for, what are the differences, and are the differences in screening narrow.

Out of those 70 programs...and just so you know, it's pre-licensure programs, that's our scope. Out of the 77, 23 are PNs, 19 are associate degree. We have one lonely diploma left, we have 21 baccalaureate, and 6 direct entry. Out of those 70, 5 are currently in warning status. And what that means is we survey the program, we found some deficiencies, we took to the board, the board directed those deficiencies to be corrected, and the school failed to do so, either entirely or some components.
