Because Adrian has made a positive impact and significant contributions to the purposes of NCSBN, including its mission and vision, he was awarded the Meritorious Service Award in 2020. - [Adrian] It's with great appreciation that I appear before you today, albeit virtually, to receive this incredible honor. I'm so humbled that some of my colleagues felt I deserved this nomination and took time to prepare it. And, wow, what an amazing ride it's been. I'd like to thank the NCSBN Awards committee for your hard work of selecting from a list of outstanding candidates, and congratulations to all the other award recipients, who each had outstanding achievements that benefited the membership.

So, if a candidate fails to answer correctly in one of the options, it doesn't impact their scores on other options. - Hong, if you're ready for this one, this is a tough one, I think. But how do the points on an item, a partial credit scored item, connect to logits? - Wow, that is a very difficult question. I think we may need, like, 30 minutes to answer that question. But basically, the role response, how that related to the logic, it has the mathematical modeling for that. So, we have item difficulty. Basically, we know that what kind of ability can achieve this kind of role response.

That used to be my full-time job, and I cried on my way to work every single day because I was so afraid someone was going to die." And the employer themes, the main theme was RNs and LPNs are pretty much interchangeable, whether working as a staff nurse in long-term care or in the patient's home. An employer said, "The LPNs and RNs are pretty much interchangeable in the field as far as providing skilled care to our clients."
