The NEC is our NCLEX Examination Committee, which is comprised of nursing regulators from multiple jurisdictions. The NEC helps to provide item disposition and also reviews and approves NCLEX items before they can become operational or scored on the exam. Additionally, the NEC establishes and maintains NCLEX policies for the exam to remain current, entry-level, comprehensive of nursing practice, and safe for the public. For additional information on item writing and item review, please visit our NCLEX webinar series available on the website.
