The majority of respondents (27%) work National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. (NCSBN) | 2015 3EXECUTIVE SUMMARY in a facility with 100-299 beds, followed by 21% of respondents in facilities with 500 or more beds, and lastly facilities with 300-499 beds included 19% of the sample. Only 16.5% of respondents indicated working in facilities containing less than 100 beds. Almost 53% of newly licensed RNs in this study reported working in urban or metropolitan areas, 31.8% in suburban areas, and 15.3% in rural areas.

What is the right solution for preventing future harm to the public? So at CRNBC, we ended up with increasingly nuanced outcomes, really looking at all those factors as they apply to a specific [[00:19:30]] complaint. Remediation in the workplace was identified where applicable. We assessed whether an agreement to re-mediate needs to be disclosed and implemented at the prospective workplace. And dismissals by the registrar went up from about four a year to about 100 a year.
