We've got five letters, two letters, three letters, three letters. Well, I'm a fan of the methodical approach, right? I studied math. I'm pretty into listing all the different possibilities. But, of course, here I've got 13 boxes. Each one can have up to 26 choices. So, if I took a methodical approach to this, and I wondered how long my list would have to be to try to guess this thing, well, it would be 26 to the 13th power. And for those of you who didn't just compute it in your head, it's about 2.5 quintillion.

The same goes for credibility issues. I suggest that a judge should look for more reliable evidence to resolve questions about a witness's credibility. In this case, the nurse was a disinterested witness, and thus her testimony was more reliable than either star witness's memory.

Data from chemically dependent nurses as well as case histories of discipline cases, will be collected from NCSBN jurisdictions with alternative programs and from those without such programs. Data from boards of nursing and alternative-to-discipline programs will also be used for data analysis. The results of this study will be valuable for boards to identify best practices in regulation.
