Soon after, NCSBN launched the first ever online NCLEX-RN prep course, allowing candidates to study at their own pace 24/7 365. Soon, the campus of NCSBN Learning Extension expanded with an NCLEX-PN prep course and web-based continuing education courses for nurses and faculty. In another exciting innovation, NCSBN introduced Nursys, a national licensure and discipline database for member boards. For the first time, boards of nursing could electronically share vital licensure and discipline data, as well as nurse licensure compact practice privileges.
