    So police reports are used quite often, especially when we're looking at DUI cases, if we're looking at just criminal conviction cases where someone has been convicted for a crime, whereas it's alleged and it's related to their particular practice. So police reports are very reliable in the sense that it does document that there was some type of activity, some type of conviction, and when it's being offered for that purpose, the hearsay exception wouldn't be necessarily be as much of an issue as it relates to that.

    INSIGHT #9: Find facts that raise the fewest questions. INSIGHT #10: Based on the absence of evidence, find facts that negate a party’s proposition. INSIGHT #11: Based on conflicting evidence, find facts that negate a party’s proposition. INSIGHT #12: Reasons for rejecting a party’s propositions are themselves fact-findings. INSIGHT #13: Rather than reasoning only from a hypothesis to a conclusion based upon evidence, also reason from the evidence to a hypothesis that might explain it. INSIGHT #14: Intuition is not an easy way of short-circuiting method; but the reward reserved precisely for the master of method.
