If the nurse changes primary state of residence, then the nurse is subject to the multistate uniform licensure requirements (ULRs) of the eNLC. If a disqualifying event occurs after the eNLC effective date, then the nurse would not be eligible to retain or renew the multistate license. This grandfathering clause only applies to original NLC states that enacted the eNLC before Jan. 19, 2018.
