The goal of Phase I was to create the underlying infrastructure for the data repository and load existing marketing data as a proof of concept . • The Microsoft Azure cloud environment for hosting the data repository was completed and passed a security audit . • NCSBN marketing’s website analytics and social media data was loaded into the repository and reports, dashboards and visualizations were created Future Activities • Phase II will begin the loading and analysis of data for Strategic Objective A3 and will continue as part of the new strategic plan. • Phase II is tentatively scheduled to begin in the July/August 2022 timeframe as NCSBN looks to secure data engineering resources as well as project resources from IT, Exams and Nursing Regulation.

Legislation introduced to look at national licensure remains pending but has not moved. The enhanced nursing compact was introduced in 2016 and was passed in 10 states. The APRN Compact, also introduced in 2016, was enacted in Idaho and Wyoming. Both compacts have a target adoption number (26 and 10, respectively) before rulemaking would commence. NCSBN has assembled a compact team led by Maryann Alexander and with Jim Puente, Rebecca Fotsch, Nicole Livanos, Elliot Vice and Dawn Kappel. The 2017 legislative season is expected to have several interstate practice-related bills.

And I do have to say my flight was...or my flight and my coworkers' flights were delayed yesterday, we were supposed to get in at 4:12, and we arrived at 11:42 local.
