DI 25 and 26 has to do with missing SSN and DOB. And this is important because we use those two, particularly for our matching within Nursys. Ultimately, the minimum passing score (MPS) is a purpose-specific policy decision that emerges from a performance level description of the expectations of target candidates. For example, the defined performance level for a news reporter or a trial lawyer may yield a MPS that is quite different than the MPS we might expect for a mathematician or computer programmer. This is a function of the role the English literacy construct plays in the job-related skills of the respective profession.

Around 2006 to 2009 or '10, three or four years, we took the time to go and visit all the members in the country, all the jurisdictions, except for, I think, Guam or American Samoa, we had conference calls with them. They're just too far out for us to visit. So, we had a conversation with every single member. When we visited the members, we actually talked with their staff, we asked them, "What kind of tools do you really need in the system that will allow you to be more efficient?"

For women, okay, so this is ©2019 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 7 women overall negotiating on behalf of themselves for their starting salaries. [[00:26:30]] We see the starting salary that they received is lower, right?

And that was done in December of 2020. And the next slide shows the great pictures of our North Dakota Association of Nurse Anesthetists. They were a very supportive group. We also had support and testimony from the North Dakota Nurse Practitioner Association, the North Dakota Center for Nursing, and also the North Dakota Nurses Association. In a real grassroots effort, we were able to visit with each of these entities and develop letters of support and full support from each of them. Some other support that I'd like to mention, National Council of State Boards of Nursing was definitely a phone call away or an email away.

That's great feedback. And as it currently stands, that language and the ongoing duty doesn't exist in the Model Act and Rules. So that's great feedback for us. Thank you. - Okay. And third, just I applaud you for recommending the change to remove the requirement for membership in National Council, although we all love that and we'll keep it, my umbrella agency has been looking at that issue of any of our professions that have a mandate to have a membership in certain organizations.

So two days later, she doesn't see a change, you know. Tiki's still coughing, and she even used the word, "Sounds like Tiki was having a death rattle." So this is a real concern. She was still having difficulty. She had a vaporizer. Things weren't getting better. So three days later, she went for a second visit, which is where this slide picks up. This time you have a different vet there, and this time the veterinarian performs x-rays. He says, "Ooh, there's a severe pleural effusion," basically, fluid in the lungs. I just wanted to show off, you know, pleural effusion, you know.
