We can see that a high rate of APRN telehealth is largely driven by the nurse practitioners who make up a large proportion of the advanced practice registered nurses we have. Looking at APRN roles, we have the certified nurse practitioners, almost 50% of them are doing some telehealth, and three-quarters of them are doing any telehealth, either some or a lot of telehealth. But we can compare that to, for instance, the certified registered nurse anesthetists, who, three-quarters of them are doing no telehealth at all. And we can see here a different pattern for midwives, for instance, where 50% are doing some telehealth, but almost none are doing all telehealth or doing a lot of telehealth.

The ADA ensures that a person in active recovery will not face discrimination in the job arena. Marijuana for Medical Purposes The legalization of marijuana for medical purposes is an emerg- ing issue, and some states have already passed legislation for prescribed medical use. This presents another challenge for regu- latory management. Alternative programs focus on the rehabilitation process and support for recovering nurses to remain active in nursing.

She had an agreement with a physician to use his DEA registration to order Phentermine and… Oh, wait. Was there a little rumble there? This was all on the up and up. Don't, you know. The LPN's just trying to help people achieve their weight loss goals. So she used the physician's DEA registration to order Phentermine or Phendimetrazine for weight loss. So the patients would visit the clinic. The LPN would do a medical history on the patient, would assess the patient, would perform an EKG, and do lab work. Based on the results, the LPN had a standing order as she described it or a protocol with the physician if the patient's medical history, and the lab results, and the EKG checked out so there would be no perceived problems with the weight loss medications.

And I'd like to share some thoughts with you today about the relationship between what we do as evaluators and treaters and what you do as investigators and boards that regulate the conduct of licensed professionals. So in the course of today's talk, I'd like to provide a framework for you to think about fitness for duty evaluations, what we mean by rehabilitation, and how that fits into monitoring and discipline for unprofessional conduct. The work that we do, just for a little bit more orientation as to what I do, there are a lot of facilities around the country that provide evaluations and treatment for addiction.

That's business data, personal data. There's all sorts of data. And the question that everyone has is what can we do with it? How do we actually make use of this, especially in the business context, which is what we're talking about. And I've been tracking this now for 20-plus years. And literally for the last two decades, business intelligence and data analytics has been like the top three, the top five priority for CIOs, and in the industry is just exploding. But now a study that the center did back in 2020 showed that only 27% of business executives actually said they were getting actionable intelligence from their projects.
