This new evidence provides nurse educators with an opportunity to col- laborate with practice leaders and inform them of these fi ndings.

A large number of anecdotal studies and news reports fuel interest in using cannabis for the treatment of PTSD symptoms (Gutierrez & Dubert, 2017) and severe epilepsy (“Medical Marijuana and Epilepsy,” 2017). Many states have implemented can- nabis laws expressly for the treatment of epilepsy with CBD (NCSL, 2017).
