., yet you have to present...it's not enough to just show that somebody was charged with something or there are criminal charges, you have to proceed with, you know, basically a full-blown hearing. The hearings that we hold are no different than it would be if you were having, you know, a hearing on the merits. - Okay. So, wow. So have you run into any issues with timing? Like, you know, I'll just give you an example. In Kentucky, we found out that someone who lived right on the Kentucky-Tennessee border, who had a license in both states, had been charged with sexual assault of patients in Tennessee but Kentucky didn't know about it.

All information is primary source equivalent. BONs can take advantage of Nursys online license lookup, which provides employers with their licensees’ status in multiple jurisdictions. Many boards have taken advantage of this service by providing employers with a link to Nursys from their website where they display their own license lookup. Rajwany recalls that several years ago a BON experienced a shutdown of their online services due to hacking concerns. Nursys was available to the BON staff to look up their licensees so they could still conduct business.

Marijuana-Impaired Driving
Site: ncsbn.org
The report is to educate the public that drugs other than alcohol, including marijuana, are absorbed, distributed and eliminated from the body differently than alcohol. While BAC correlates closely with impairment, there is no such measure (e.g., THC) for marijuana that correlates with impairment. Thus, a BAC-equivalent impairment measure is not possible. This program, originally developed by the Los Angeles Police Department in the 1970’s, trains officers to recognize the signs and symptoms of drug use as an aid to investigating suspected drug-impaired driving cases. The program is now managed nationally by the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), with technical assistance from NHTSA. The DRE performs a drug influence evaluation (DIE) on the suspected impaired driver in order to determine whether the observed impairment is likely to be due to drug use (and if so, what specific type of drug(s)) or whether the observed impairment is due to neurological conditions, illness, or disease.

Wow. That's great. It's really great to see the interest growing and we're so pleased to have you here. As my colleagues from medicine and pharmacy have mentioned, this has been a great collaboration, and a rather unusual one, I would say, in being consistent of regulators who have a common mission.

It was informative, but it was also confirming, you know, based on what I heard from him. So those are my comments. Thank you. - Thank you for that. And I'd just like to say that one of the things we've recently did is put all the components of our alternative program and what would be the requirements on the website, as well as when they're sent a letter that possibly somebody who would be appropriate for the program, we send that information out so they're very aware beforehand, so th ...

We are not cheerleaders for CBD. We want to know what's really going on. We don't see any reason to exaggerate something that seems to be very positive. Why exaggerate it then, you know? But what we're seeing on the ground, what we hear from, and our website is over a million page views a month, and we hear a lot from people around the world, clearly, epilepsy has sort of risen to the top, as people think, CBD, epilepsy, good for these kids. No longer the assassin of youth, now it's something that saves kids' lives.

And this occurred in the '90s. Susan was a nursing in a long-term care facility. She was an RN and an LVN. And she killed two elderly people there presumably, or at least she explained, they were mercy killings. These were very ill and declining older people who were expected to die. We probably never would have heard anything about these cases, but for the fact that Susan told her husband that she did this. He sat on it for a while and was very disturbed about it. He didn't know whether to believe it or not, but he told his pastor, and eventually, then this was reported to law enforcement.
