NCSBN is also assisting in implemen- tation of both the advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) rule and the new telehealth rule, which went into effect in June. The VA continues to rollout both policies in their facilities and NCSBN is helping by connecting BONs with the VA to answer their questions and resolve potential con- flicts. “NCSBN has a good working relation- ship with the VA, and it has grown significantly over past four years,” comments Vice. “We look forward to continuing our work with them to help address some of their regulatory challenges, improve access to care and ensure patient safety.”
