So again, the Pyxis server usually only needs to get data for… If it's pre-Pyxis ES, so Pyxis ES is the newest version, if it's Pyxis 4000 or older, you can actually only get 30 days of data. That's it. And then you need to go to Knowledge Portal. If it's Pyxis ES, you can usually get about 60 or 90, depending on the site and then you go to Knowledge Portal. So again, if they say, "Oh, we can only go back 90 days," just say, "Oh, do you have Knowledge Portal?" And then they can give you more. Sometimes they don't offer that up. Pandora Analytics is another option that actually does work with Pyxis, Omnicell or AcuDose, all three.

I don't know what I'm looking at. So we need that intel. And that work gets done often through our Workplace Violence Committee, like that whole group, which is co-led, by the way, with our department lead for the ED, and our security director for each site. They co-chair those meetings. So, yeah, we're doing the best to encourage them. I think it's more the culture than the time, to be honest. ©2023 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. Why are we more willing to negotiate a little bit more assertively for someone who's not ourselves?" Interesting things here. For women, okay, so this is ©2019 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 7 women overall negotiating on behalf of themselves for their starting salaries. [[00:26:30]] We see the starting salary that they received is lower, right? Here it's about $143,000 was in the study. I always think it's worth pointing out that this was a Harvard MBA class so the normal gender impacts we would actually see if we ran the study in a general population aren't there.

And so, we discussed that in terms of coming up with that recommendation. Within the Acts, the Board of Nursing power and duties. ©2020 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 3 So this is a very…in the current language, a very lengthy list. It's, I think A through Z, so there's 26 of those listed. And there was also some other detail inside of that with particular ones. And we are recommending a more-slimmed down list, focused on authorization to conduct those activities without the detail that was in the current language and leaving the detail to go into the sections of the Acts that pertain to that particular issue.

Nick, how long does it take for grads to receive the results, and how do they get their results? - [Nick] Thanks, Jason. Yeah, so eight official results are only available from the NRB, the nursing regulatory bodies, within six weeks of the exam appointment. And some candidates, NRBs, participate in quick results service, and they can access those unofficial results approximately 48 hours after their exam date and time. - Perfect. Nick, I've got a follow-up. So one of the educators heard that when a grad fails the exam, they can get a report that identifies strengths and weaknesses.

This is not a formal order or meeting, we look at it like engagement, "We have this complaint. This is your third one. Is there anything you want to talk about? Are you okay?" So, it's important for the board to make this initial contact because we know from our engagement and customer service surveys that providers are often overwhelmed with their careers and their personal lives, and they don't have time to be proactive in the matters related to their mental health or education. So, this all starts to snowball if, you know, one more thing happens, if a kid gets suspended and then it becomes a real problem.

I may assume that a lot of candidates don't take CAT exams throughout their education, so this will give them some familiarity with the program and then, you know, get them better situated with the software. It doesn't have nursing content on it but it's the actual tutorial and it gives examples of each of the alternative item formats that the candidate will see on the exam. Our social media presence, it's been really nice to offer a customer service kind of branch to the candidates. So ...

So should a nurse maintain legal residence in a Nurse Licensure Compact state and hold a multistate license and be stationed in other compact states, that nurse may practice under that home state's multistate license in those other compact states, without having to get a new license in each new state. And it's really important and helpful to know that the service person and the spouse may elect to have different home states. There are a few pitfalls that nurses who are a military spouse need to be mindful of when they're holding a multistate license in their home state. When they're stationed in a remote compact state for multiple years, there are three pitfalls we've identified that they should consider when they're maintaining or changing primary state of residence.
