We stood on the sidelines and we applauded them and we thank them and we put them on commercials and we pinned superhero capes on them and we thank them for their service. Well, after time and everything kind of got back to normal, the attention and the spotlight wasn't on them anymore. So, what we have seen since then in the immediate aftermath of that is with that first responder group of individuals, increases in divorce, increases in addiction, alcoholism, suicide, bankruptcy, domestic violence, all of the above.

The ORBS Nurse Portal requires a valid email address, as it is the mechanism to facilitate ongoing communications between the board and the nurse applicant. The applicant may be directed by the board staff, to create an email account using various free of service options by Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, etc. Does the system perform a validation against USPS addresses? To ensure that addresses entered into ORBS are valid, the system uses Google Lookup at the time addresses are entered. If you haven't seen the report, there's lots of information on how that can be achieved in our education settings, and lots of recommendations for practice and research and leadership as well. Now, the last challenge, before I conclude, is what I want to talk about is sort of the wise use of our comparative advantage, What I was talking about earlier. Now, we have this shift away from fee for service payment towards value-based payment. This shift has been endorsed by both Republican and Democratic presidents over the past 10 years, and it has been enjoyed bipartisan support in Congress as well. And the movement is slow but steady and going to be picking up pace.
