So, in other words, there should not be more than one multistate license that's active for a given nurse, and that the only license that should be active is the one that's in the home state, the current home state. Okay. And then now let's take a look at the rule that is pertinent here as well. Okay. The font is a little smaller. So, I'm going to have to get a little closer here. And this is Rule 403, which as you know, all of the rules are on the NLC website. And this sets up the situation where a duplicate license comes into play. And let's just read through the rule. And it's entitled, "Change in Primary State of Residence," because that's when someone ends up getting their second multistate license.

Thanks to the tech people who've been very supportive through this session and I believe I've left us about 10 minutes for some questions and conversation. - Dr. Brennan, thank you very much. That was an excellent presentation and extremely informative and enlightening. I'd like to open it up now for questions for Dr. Brennan. Please put them in the Q&A section on your website. Dr. Brennan, the first question I have is from Carrie Downing. She asks, "How many clinical trials do not make it to publication?" She says she knows you mentioned it but she missed the number. - Carrie, this is a number I'm not very proud to be restating again.

So for those of you who are less familiar, and that would likely be the cohort of people who were at my presentation yesterday, because then by default you missed my colleague Richard's presentation on these results. I would highly encourage you when you get the recording for that presentation, please review it and also download the full report. It's free for download on the Journal of Nursing Regulation website. It's chuck full of just such valuable information, and it's super comprehensive across all license types that we track. So that's RNs, APRNs, and LPNs, LVNs. But for the purposes of this talk, I do want to, again, give you a little bit of a crib note for what this project entails.

If we go out and speak to students or nursing program administrators, or employers, Nursys.com and Nursys e-Notify are regular topics we highlight during our presentations. We also continually market the service via our board of nursing newsletter, website and social media offerings.” Guerrero added that even the board’s open records requests and staff email footers encourage e-Notify enrollment. Majek cited the Texas board’s newsletter as well, also adding the BON ListServ communications as a means of promoting e-Notify.

But in the 2024 cycle, we were thrilled to include the northern Mariana Islands and Guam. The core of the survey instrument is comprised of the forum, so that's the National Forum of Nursing Workforce, State Nursing Workforce Centers, Nurse Supply Minimum Dataset. This is kind of a general framework of about 26 questions or so, that include both demographic and workforce measures. So, age, gender, ethnicity, race, and then years' experience, practice type, specialty setting, etc.. Each cycle, though, we also regularly embed several custom elements. We endeavor for those not to change too much, because we want the continuity of the longitudinal data tracking with this survey.

The primary efficacy measure was the percent change from baseline in the frequency (per 28 days) of convulsive seizures (all countable atonic, tonic, clonic, and tonic-clonic seizures) over the 14-week treatment period. In Study 3, 93% of patients were taking at least 2 concomitant AEDs during the trial. The most commonly used concomitant AEDs (>25%) in Study 3 were clobazam (65%), valproate (57%), stiripentol (43%), levetiracetam (28%), and topiramate (26%). The baseline median convulsive seizure frequency was 13 per 28 days for the combined groups. The median percent change from baseline (reduction) in the frequency of convulsive seizures was significantly greater for EPIDIOLEX 20 mg/kg/day than for placebo (see Table 5).

All rights reserved. 13 and the way in which his leadership was able to inspire and motivate the nation, to accomplish the thing that all previous generations are only ever been able to dream of. And, for us, it's now a reality. And I think that's down to Kennedy. So, rhetorical strategies are scalable. I don't want us to distance ourself from Kennedy. You have the same 26 letters of the alphabet that all of us possess. You don't have to be the president of the United States in order to make a vision come true. Yes, there are advantages. So, it would seem, but rhetoric is a language and a strategy available to all of us.

We also put out a lot of alerts to nurses in general. This is a pattern. This is a trend. These are the numbers of actions the board has taken. We put it in social media, both on Twitter and Facebook, but we also put it in our newsletter, and we put an article on our website to alert nurses. And we did more than one article for the newsletter. So we kept that on the front page for them for a while so they would understand the seriousness of it. So I think that those are the things that we learned. Probably the most effective thing were the policy changes, the law changes that created the deterrence that I spoke of.
