And we know from a study of physicians done in August of 2020, that about 58% of those physicians reported experiencing burnout compared to 40% in 2018. And of those physicians, 22% know a colleague who actually has committed suicide over the last year. Frontline healthcare workers also are not immune to risky substance use, substance use disorders and in fact, there are some estimates that over a third of frontline healthcare workers have now reported engaging in risky alcohol use.

NCSBN also leases equipment under finance lease agreements with terms ranging from two to three years. NCSBN’s finance leases generally do not contain any material restrictive covenants or residual value guarantees. Operating lease cost is recognized on a straight-line basis over the lease term. Finance lease cost is recognized as a combination of the amortization expense for the right-of-use assets and interest expense for the outstanding lease liabilities, and results in a front-loaded expense pattern over the lease term.

This chart displays the percentage of availability that most cloud networks provide. Most providers guarantee 99.9% uptime in their contracts. Accurately forecasting technology budgets is a challenge for any board. For example, your board may grow and add six or more staff over the next two years. Will your systems you invested in two years ago be able to handle that growth? What if instead of predicted growth over the next two years, your agency downsizes by six staff? Your systems may suffer from under-utilization, which could result in wasted resources.

A majority of APRNs worked in the same office or facility, but if not in the same location, respondents reported only working a median of 15 miles from their supervising provider. As a result, minimum distance requirements did not emerge as a significant obstacle for most APRNs in this study. The median fee to establish a collaborative practice agreement was $150. However, over 60 respondents reported paying in excess of $10,000 to establish their collaborative practice agreement. Simil ...

A couple of things I'd like to just highlight that you may or may not, you'll probably hear a bit about it today, but that we're very proud of. The Global Regulatory Atlas that was developed very much under David's leadership at NCSBN now has regulatory information on over 320 countries and over 21 million nurses worldwide. That is quite an accomplishment. There's not another healthcare profession that has such a rich source of data. And as David mentioned to some of us yesterday, I think the integrity of the data continues to get better and better as we move along with this.

And we did this in partnership with our NCSBN research team, who has expertly designed a survey that looks to gauge support for the APRN Compact, also demonstrate the need for the compact by surveying where nurses are already practicing and how many states and whether they've provided services across state lines in the last 24 months. And we found in Maryland that we surveyed over 2,000 APRNs in the state and found that there was 94% support among those respondents for the APRN Compact ...
