We consider that whether CRNBC's interventions in [[00:25:30]] the matter are well-situated in our mandate and effectively addressed by our tools. If they aren't, implying an ability to act could prevent the matter from becoming referred to the most appropriate venue for a satisfactory outcome. Regulation can't solve every problem. Some problems are the individuals, some the employers. Intervening where a regulatory mandate is not strong may create confusion among all involved. [[00:26:00]] An increased fear among registrants that a distance seemingly disconnected regulator is making decisions about them.

- Certainly, there is some truth to that, and particularly, seniors do somewhat feel they want to be in the presence of a practitioner. And this is, is this second-class medicine? Obviously, we don't think so, because we're advocates for it, but that is certainly a consideration. The counter to that is equitable access that this is providing access to so many people that wouldn't otherwise have care. But I was just on a visit with some folks from Taiwan that were wanting to talk to us about telehealth in this country.
