What else? Okay. Here's a screen, and probably, you can't read it from your seat, but that's okay. Because, at a glance, what does it look like if I said, "What year was a screen like this created?" I don't think you'd give me a year that started with 19, is my point, right? Point is there's going to be a little bit of a modern facelift, but it isn't just cosmetic. It's also in terms of the things you can do, more importantly. So I want to emphasize something before I talk about it. This is an early prototype.

So, yes, there are two scheduled breaks which are at 2 hours and then at 3.5 hours, but candidates have the opportunity to take as many scheduled...or unscheduled breaks as they want. All they have to do is simply raise their hand and wait for the TA to come escort them out of the room. - Okay. Fantastic. Latrice, I'm going to switch back to you with this one. How soon will COVID-19 make it onto the NCLEX exams? - Well, we bring in writers quite often, so we certainly don't develop the content within our office. So what you see on the exam is what writers have written, so I imagine that during our next three writing panels, we will see definite information about COVID, so probably very soon. - Okay.

Because of the segregation, because of the discrimination, because of the exclusion, what we have happened in the late 19th and early 20th century is that the black community started to make provisions for their own systems. So, you see hospitals being built by the black community, medical schools being built by the black community. ©2019 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 3 Some of these hospitals and medical schools were very small. Many of the hospitals were just a doctor. These black physicians couldn't practice in the white hospital. I'm going to talk a little bit more about that in a second. Black physicians couldn't practice in the white hospital, so they would form their own private hospital.

We also began to transition to online applications and payments for all first-time applicants and standard renewals. And then we transitioned from paper fingerprint cards to electronic fingerprint submissions. Okay. So now I want to talk a little bit about the impacts of Covid-19 upon our commission. I'm going to focus mainly on the licensing piece of this, even though, obviously, the pandemic affected all parts of our commission and all units of our work. And there's a little chart here just to kind of show you a timeline.

The other thing that you always need to know is we always have 15 items that each candidate gets that's an experimental pool, which is also part of that research for new items. So, of critical importance is us being able to do. We launch on Saturday, right? We have a robust bank, but you may not know this. ©2023 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 3 One of the policies of NEC is that we keep an operational pool. That means it has to have all the specs, and the NEC that are here can vouch for this. We require, I believe at any one time, five to six operational pools. So if anything happened, we just pull it down, put a new one up.

And I went to work with him. I was the third hire. I was the non-engineer, the liberal arts kind of HR project manager. And I spent the next 10 years there going from 3 people to 50 people with some foundation dollars out of Detroit helping us create economic systems or technology systems for economic impact. So we were matching interns with internships and entrepreneurs with resources in the Metro Detroit region.

So, if they said there's four options, and if they selected four options, three of which are correct, they would earn three points. But if they do select the fourth option, and it's incorrect, then they'll be subtracted a point. So they would earn a score of two total points. - Okay. So the 3 minus 1 is 2. Very good. - Yeah. And do you mind if I jump in for just a second and add to that? - Go right ahead. - Because today a person who would select it in that s
