Since 1994, more than 3.2 million U.S. candidates for nurse licensure have taken the NCLEX® exam via computerized adaptive testing (CAT). The Learning Extension currently offers 36 online courses, reaching more than 165,000 nurses in 120 countries since its inception in 1998. Over the last three years, nearly 80,000 nurse licensure candidates in 10 countries have taken the NCLEX abroad. NCSBN® welcomed its first international associate member in 2008.
