The very nature of this medium can pose a risk as it offers instantaneous posting opportunities that allow little time for reflective thought, and carries the added burden that what is posted on the Internet is discoverable by a court of law even after it has been deleted.

And so, I think these were all very worthwhile changes, and quite frankly, they've become the model for other compacts that have developed since then. The next slide. - That's a good point. So we're seeing now more states than ever before displaying interest in the compact. So, Jim, what are your thoughts about the recent impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on increased legislative activity? - That's a great question. And I think that, you know, that was on a lot of people's minds as we entered into the pandemic in March of 2020. And the way it panned out was that we had 14 states introduce legislation this year, 2021.
