I have provided patient care in long-term care, acute care, and home care. I have also provided nursing service through manage- ment and leadership positions in healthcare industry and education. Throughout these experiences I have remained focused on what I believe is the shared culture of nursing, care of individuals within the community. When I received the great honor to represent nursing education on the Board of Nursing, I had no idea how my professional thoughts would evolve.
