
Ready to Take the REx-PN?
Registering for the REx-PN is a multistep process involving the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) or the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and Pearson VUE. Before registering, candidates should make sure they meet eligibility and any testing accommodation requirements determined by BCCNM or CNO.

Apply for Licensure/Registration
First, submit an application for licensure/registration to BCCNM or CNO. This step is required to obtain eligibility to take the REx-PN.

Register with Pearson VUE
Secondly, register with Pearson VUE. Payment and scheduling for the REx-PN is done through Pearson VUE.

The cost of taking the REx-PN depends on where candidates take the exam. There are also additional fees to make changes to your registration.

Authorization to Test
After BCCNM/CNO declares a candidate eligible and the candidate has registered through Pearson VUE, candidates will receive an Authorization to Test (ATT) email. The ATT email will be sent to the email address provided when registering. Candidates must have their ATT email to schedule an appointment to take the REx-PN.

ATT Validity Dates
- The ATT is issued by email once BCCNM/CNO declares a candidate eligible to test and registration through Pearson VUE is complete.
- Each ATT is valid for a period of time specified by BCCNM/CNO.
- Candidates must test within the validity dates.

The REx-PN is administered by Pearson VUE at testing centers around the world.

Lastly, schedule the REx-PN appointment. Appointments can be scheduled via Pearson VUE Candidate Services online or telephone.
